With the built-in Intel 945G Express Chipset and Intel 82573V Ethernet controllers ((Intel PRO/1000 PM network connection), the SHB100 offers enhanced manageability and storage security technologies with Intel Active Management Technology (Intel AMT).
Providing scalable performance, the SHB100 is an ideal performance solution for industrial and embedded computing applications.
The built-in RAID 0, 1, 5, 10 function in the BIOS is great for storage applications.
The SBC delivers outstanding system performance through high-bandwidth interfaces including PCI Express x16 graphics or I/O, PCI Express x1 I/O ports, four Serial ATA II, and four hi-speed USB 2.0 ports.
Its new technology can deliver significant system performance over previous PICMG 1.0 platforms.
In addition, this platform supports two advanced DDR II DIMM sockets for up to 4GB of memory.
The VGA function is integrated into the Intel 945G chipset (Intel GMA950) and the board has a maximum video memory of up to 256MB, which is shared by the system memory.
"With the up-to-date Intel dual-core processors, Axiomtek delivers a high performance scalabable platform with integrated graphics which is an excellent selection for the industrial and network market segments," said Philip Wei, Product Manager of the Industrial PC Division, Axiomtek.
"Manufacturers, system integrators and software developers are able to select this most appropriate platform for their systems based on bandwidth, video, Ethernet communications and audio requirements." Built for a wide range of applications, the SHB100 supports four SATA connectors, one ATA-100 connector and a Compactflash socket for storage, plus video and audio AC'97 is great for multimedia environments.
This high speed platform also offers four USB 2.0 ports and Intel 82573V Gigabit Ethernet controllers to provide perfect storage and network connectivity.
Other features include Hardware Monitoring, a Watchdog Timer, and Wake-on-LAN.
The SHB100 will be available in the middle of June, 2006.
