EPIC form factor single board computer
A high performance EPIC form factor single board computer (SBC), the EP830, which supports Socket M Intel Core2 Duo, Core Duo, and Core Solo processors has been introduced by Axiomtek.
Axiomtek has introduced an extreme high performance EPIC form factor single board computer (SBC), the EP830, which supports Socket M Intel Core2 Duo, Core Duo, and Core Solo processors with 533/667 MHz front side bus (FSB) Powered by Mobile Intel 945GME+ICH7M Express chipset, this embedded board offers improved graphics and increased I/O bandwidth and provides excellent flexibility for a wide range of embedded applications like digital signage appliance (DSA,) DVR, POS and gaming markets

Additionally, dual Gigabit Ethernet ports are connected from PCIe x1 bus for full speed 1000 Base-T networking connectivity.
Some thoughtful features are also available for options including TPM 1.2, RAID 0/1, and EPIC Express interface which are ideal for security, data redundancy and high performance expansion with reliable board-to-board stacking solution.
Furthermore, it comes with onboard multiple serial interfaces such as, two IEEE1394a ports, 4 USB 2.0 ports, 8 Digital I/O, 4 COM ports, and CompactFlashTM for SSD storage devices.
Axiomtek developed a series of stand form factor EPIC boards from low power CPU to high performance Intel Core 2 Duo level.
The product is RoHS compliant and will be available around early November, 2007.
