Cimatron demonstrates latest CAD/CAM software

Cimatron has announced that its latest release of Cimatron E, version 9, will be demonstrated at the 2009 NPE/Moldmaking Expo from 22-26 June 2009 at the McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago.
Helping tool makers and manufacturers deliver higher quality tools and products at lower costs and shorter cycle times, the Cimatron E CAD/CAM software suite addresses the entire process from quoting through design, engineering changes, NC, and EDM programming to delivery.
Highlights of the new and enhanced capabilities in Cimatron E 9.0 include: increased mould design automation; an application for defining electrode measuring points and probe path; machining strategies for high-speed machining (HSM) and five-axis milling; capabilities for handling product manufacturing information (PMI) throughout the design and manufacturing process; an application for transfer die design; and a die quote generator.
