Spiral wrapping machines prove reliability
As a company's two existing spiral wrapping machines had proven to be extremely reliable, fast, safe and perfect for spiral wrapping, an aluminium extrusions supplier saw no need to change supplier.
Aetna UK sales of stretch wrappers excellent
Bedfordshire based Aetna UK have announced that they have achieved record breaking sales for their ROBOPAC semi automatic pallet wrappers for the first 5 months of 2006
Requiring no special cartridges and with no need to stop the line, the module can be added to existing machines and has proved to be a very popular addition to the Sistemi range, said Aetna.
Also on display will be the Robopac Roboband, an integral banding and labelling system, which applies horizontal bands of film (decorative or plain) around a palletised load.
Available in two versions and with claimed speeds of up to 150 pallets per hour, the Roboband is suitable for produce stacked in crates and trays, kegs or display pallets which need good product security in transit, whilst at the same time providing product identification throughout the supply chain.
Decoration can include advertising or safety information and the band provides an excellent substrate for bar code labels where the load itself is not receptive, such as concrete blocks or beer crates.
Available in film widths from 100mm to 500mm the system is proving extremely popular with over 150 systems installed in Germany alone, said the company.
Dimac will show for the first time the Planet continuous motion wrap-around case and tray packer.
It is the newest addition to its range of case packers and has already generated a good deal of interest from customers seeking compact low-to-medium speed packers.
The system features no change parts, in line tray or case feed and a very competitive price.
The Aetna stand will be in hall B5, stand 426.
