Next-Generation Side Seal Horizontal Film Wrappers
Aetna UK has announced a new addition to the Robopac range of L Sealers.
Aetna UK has announced a new addition to the Robopac range of L Sealers.
The new Athena 550CS side seal horizontal film wrapper provides speeds of up to 60 packs a minute at the top of the range.
This is a completely new class of machine and it complements the current range of automatic and semi-automatic sealers.
Aetna says that the 550CS has been developed specifically as a result of increasing customer demand for wrapping at higher speeds.
Standard features of the CS include: easy machine adjustments from the touch screen control panel; powered adjustment of product dimensions; and automatic seal centring with respect to products height.
Optional features include: horizontal conveying of outfeed belt for small size products; colour touch screen control panel; printed film detecting device; and powered system for film spool loading.
The Ariane range of L sealers are known for their reliability and robust construction and are very competitively priced.
Manual and semi-automatic versions are available, and a microprocessor control allows a range of different adjustable settings including sealing times, conveyor take off speed and tunnel conveyor speeds, which can be stored within three programmes.
The semi-automatic machine is pushbutton operated but can be utilised in automatic mode to achieve up to 15 packs per minute depending on the product size.
Additional optional features include a powered device for automatic waste collection, an infeed air table to assist with loading products onto the infeed table, and additional film reel holders for different sized film.
Aetna's managing director, Mark Tucker commented: "Over the recent months we have seen a marked increase in enquiries for this type of machinery".
"The Athena 550CS is ideal for wrapping a range of smaller cartons, boxes or packages, and has received a good deal of interest from a range of different customers, particularly those involved in printing and publishing".
Aetna says that these machines are available ex-stock for quick delivery and can be demonstrated in their new showrooms at their premises in Bedford.
