Pallet Wrappers On show At IMHX Exhibition
On stand 20G30 at the IMHX Exhibition, Aetna UK will showcase its Robopac pallet stretchwrapping equipment, including the Rotoplat 506 semi-automatic pallet stretch wrapper.
On stand 20G30 at the IMHX Exhibition, Aetna UK will showcase its Robopac pallet stretchwrapping equipment, including the Rotoplat 506, which has been the best selling semi-automatic pallet stretch wrapper in the UK for the past three years.
The Robopac's features include power Pre-Stretch, four programmes and 11 adjustable parameters in conjunction with 'parental control', which means that any type of pallet can be wrapped without the operator having to change the settings.
The Rotoplat is claimed to give 250 per cent stretch on the film and will save a minimum 50 per cent on film costs, compared with conventional machines, whilst improving the pallet stability and reducing packaging waste.
Aetna claimed that many customers have paid for the machine from film savings within 12 months of purchase.
Aetna will also use a video screen presentation to demonstrate how to automate pallet movements using laser guided vehicles and will show, for the first time, a system that uses operator-less automated guided vehicles for the loading of trailers and trucks.
Also on show will be the Palomat pallet stacker and de-stacker, which the company has said has been rigorously tested by factory inspection authorities who concluded that 'it provides the perfect solution for increasing safety when handling pallets in the working environment'.
When used correctly the benefits of the Palomat stacker and de-stacker are significant, claimed Aetna.
It will eliminate back, hands and feet injuries, reduce the need for forklift handling, reduce pallet damage, whilst providing stacking for optimum storage and increase productivity.
With models available for manual and automatic change between stacking and de-stacking, the Palomat is claimed to be now catching the imagination of the better organised companies who are keen to improve their housekeeping and improve working conditions for their staff, said Aetna.
