Aetna UK sets shrink-wrapping record.
Shrink wrapping machine was delivered, commissioned and in full operation within one week to wrap a set of spanners in a presentation case using a high quality shrink film.
When Roy King of Coplan contacted Aetna UK to seek a quote for a new shrink wrapping machine, little did he know that just one week later, the machine would be delivered, commissioned and in full operation at Coplan! This impressively fast turnaround began with a call to Aetna's managing director, Mark Tucker one Friday lunchtime An appointment to visit Coplan was arranged for 2.30 on the same day, the order was placed at 3pm and the machine was delivered and commissioned the following week

Distributor of packaging machinery and systems showed semi-automatic case taping systems and the latest stretch film delivery and shrink-wrapping machines at the Interpack packaging exhibition.
Coplan produces products for the automotive industry and they needed a machine which could wrap a set of spanners in a presentation case using a high quality shrink film.
It also had to be able to collate and wrap seat covers in a polyethylene material, to enhance the finished presentation.
Aetna's Ariane 5040A semi-automatic L-sealer with automatic cycle and rotating rollers in the shrink tunnel fitted the bill perfectly, producing 10/12 packs/min.
Roy King is absolutely delighted with the both the machine and the service he has received from Aetna.
He said " The speed of response was fantastic and the Ariane has really enhanced the presentation of our products.
Previously we have used contract packers, but since purchasing the shrink wrapper we have really seen the benefits of packing in-house, both logistically and financially - I wish we had invested in this years ago.".
