Sales of stretch wrappers will be a record
Despite the continued consolidation and decline of British manufacturing, Aetna reported that sales of the Robopac pallet stretch wrapping range of equipment are on course for a record year.
2006 is on course to be a record year for sales of the Robopac pallet stretch wrapping range of equipment, according to Aetna UK.
Despite the continued consolidation and decline of British manufacturing, Aetna says that sales of the larger fully automatic systems have remained steady.
Each year, Robopac continues to develop their range of products and by utilising the most up to date pallet wrapping technology, customers can be sure that their systems will provide the safest pallet load, using the minimum of film.
Aetna claims that yet again they have shown a real growth of 10% in sales of the smaller semi automatic systems, bringing unit sales to about 350 for the first time.
A large percentage of these are repeat orders from existing customers and increasingly orders are coming in bulk from the larger companies.
The largest order this year so far was 22 systems from a major Brewer.
Aetna's managing director, Mark Tucker, believed this success is the direct result of 'Focus'.
He said: "In our 15 years history we have never taken our 'eyes off the ball'.
From the beginning we have always invested in, and retained, hard-working and loyal sales and service teams and this has created a customer confidence in the market and has developed a momentum of its own.
He explained: "We are a machinery company with in-depth knowledge of film and its detailed application which means that we can provide impartial advice to the end user where frequently, material costs far outweigh the capital purchase.
He added: "I firmly believe that our success is based on the fact that we study, analyse and evaluate the problem and then find the best solution.
Our customers enjoy the highest level of service through efficient demonstrations and quick delivery, backed up by top class technical service and spares support.
At the forthcoming PPMA Show, Aetna will again be showing their wide range of 'End of Line' equipment and offer a warm welcome to both customers and prospects.
