New bucket filling machine
APULLMA Maschinenfabrik is introducing a new bucket filling machine for the first time at the POWTECH exhibition
This innovative machine automatically feeds in and separates stacks of plastic buckets and covers The machine is designed to handle both high-quality containers and the inexpensive plastic buckets commonly used in cost-sensitive mass-market applications, which are much harder to handle automatically

Spiral conveyors effect smooth vertical transfer
A low friction chain slat arrangement is used in spiral conveyors to provide continuous, smooth vertical transfer of product in either direction from upper and lower levels.
Stacking creates such a great amount of negative pressure in the buckets that automatic separation has been impossible up to now.
This machine also solves the automation problems caused by the tendency of the handles of the top buckets in a stack to become caught on the buckets below.
This is achieved irrespective of where the bucket handle is located: it is lifted before the buckets are separated.
The first bucket separation machine has already been installed together with APULLMA's proportioning scale and loader-transport conveyor technology at a fertilizer plant.
It has been in operation now for several months without a single complaint.
Since then, the user has been saving both personnel costs and time.
The filling machine, which previously had to be manually loaded with buckets, now functions alone.
In addition, the new proportioning scale itself is twice as fast.
Amortization The machine is the market's first automatic handler to truly address the price-sensitive end of the market, in addition to applications involving high-quality, high-value products.
Per batch, the machine saves personnel costs for separation which would otherwise have to be included in the calculation.
With corresponding throughput, the machine is amortized within a few months and offers significant competitive advantages.
Application areas Application areas for the new, fully-automated bucket filling machine include paints and lacquers, granulates and salts, feed and fertilizer, as well as in the food processing industry for the packaging of large batches (for instance mayonnaise and salads).
If desired, the machine is also available in special stainless steel.
