Choosing a high performance lubricant will have a sizeable impact on the lifetime of a compressor, its efficiency as well as service routine, filter and separator life Batoyle Freedom Group, one of the UK's largest independent lubricant manufacturers with more than 130 years blending experience, has recently developed their range of compressor lubricants

Based upon the original Typhon technology, the formulations now incorporate the very latest in performance enhancing additive systems.

Consistent with these formulations being completely ashless, wear protection and corrosion / oxidation resistance have all been significantly boosted.

Low foam characteristics and demulsibility (water separation) also assist greatly in reducing oil carry over and downstream filtration costs.

Combined together, these product enhancements have resulted in outstanding lubrication and thermal stability, reduced deposit formation and extended oil service intervals up to 4,000 hours (dependent on lubricant grade and compressor type).

In addition to the conventional mineral oil based products, the Typhon range includes fully synthetic formulations and 'Food Safe' products which meet FDA/NSF H1 requirements and the recommendations of the recently published BCAS/BRC Food Grade Code of Practice.

The Typhon range is completed with Flush 1219, an internal cleaning agent specifically designed for use with oil injected rotary compressors. Request a free brochure from Batoyle Freedom Group ...
