BARA announces machine safety
conferences
The British Automation and Robot Association has announced two conferences on machine safety for 2008
The first will be in Manchester on June 17, the second taking place in the Midlands on September 30 The conferences are run in association with Drives and Controls and sponsored by the Laidlers, IET, IMechE and MachineBuilding.net

Machine safety seminar will be run again
Following the overwhelming success of its first Machine Safety Seminar, the British Automation and Robotics Association, will run the event again for those responsible for machine safety.
They will provide an overview of machinery safety standards, covering current and emerging standards, applicable technology, and will examine practical application through case studies.
Sessions will include safety-related networking and emerging robotic safety standards.
The conference is aimed at specifiers and designers of machinery and safety-related electrical control systems, as well as managers and engineers responsible for machinery safety.
Speakers will include the HSE, Fortress Interlocks, Rockwell Automation, Proctor Machine Guarding, Pilz, Sick and system integrators.
Delegates places and exhibition space at the conference is limited.
