Bosch Packaging Technology will present at Total Processing and Packaging in Birmingham their integrated system solutions and modules for the Food and Pharma industry.

Technology from Bosch Packaging creates flexible and efficient production processes The exhibition programme at the booths 5113 and 5110 in hall 5 is themed: "Innovations like you have never seen before"

The guideline embraces packaging innovations as well as new and further product developments of packaging and process equipments with the aim to reduce total cost of ownership.

The horizontal flow wrapper Pack 201 from Tevopharm, packs delicate products with the help of innovative robot technology.

Its gentle process is ideal for bakery products, in trays, batched biscuits, crackers, confectionery and frozen food.

The carton packaging machine CUT130SW from Bosch Pharma Solid, produces Smart Wallets as well as traditional folded cartons - ideal for a dual production strategy.

The module can easily be erected on conventional carton packaging machines.

The flow wrapper SVE 2510 from Bosch Vertical Baggers is suitable for packaging of dry and deep-frozen products.

The machine manufactures flow wraps, gusseted and corner sealed bags.

The displayed exhibit applies a double-sided adhesive tape for resealing of the package and is ideal for hard candy and coffee beans.

The curve conveyor KB from Transver from the transports delicate food and non-food products, such as pastries, bars, frozen food and pharmaceutical products.

The separation of the drive unit from the conveyor belt provides for increased hygiene and helps preserve the quality of small, delicate products during transportation.

"Buyers of machines and production equipment have to consider follow-up costs of machinery next to initial investment", says Friedbert Klefenz, President of the Bosch Packaging Technology Group.

"Costs, which occur during the life cycle, such as energy, repair and maintenance costs, are often considerably higher than initial costs".

"Our exhibition programme contains system solutions that streamline production processes and as a result total operating costs.".
