Pallet handling becomes safer and easier
Pallet handling will become even safer and easier to undertake following the launch of a new generation of multi-pallet handlers with sideshift and two hydraulic functions.
The company has introduced the T429 range, which is manufactured by KAUP and Co KG, Europe's foremost producer of forklift attachments.
The new T 429 comes with sideshift and two hydraulic functions.
It is capable of handling 1 or 2 pallets side-by-side or 2 or 4 pallets two in a row and side-by-side.

Efficient design determines effective automation
Automation has benefited manufacturing, but merely employing the technology says Mike Barton is not a 'licence for success' - ensuring the process is designed efficiently is paramount.
Available in six options to handle pallets ranging from 2500kg up to 4600kg, the T 429 is based on Kaup's 20 years of experience and expertise in producing multi-pallet handlers and the manufacture by the company of over 10,000 units, since the first multi pallet handler was launched in 1984 Truck driver visibility has been improved by arranging the structural sections in front of each other.
This has maximised the visibility area through the clamp body to provide an excellent view through to the fork tips.
Wear and tear is reduced to a minimum with the introduction of a large wear profile, which prevents damage to the profile guide.
Specially prepared profiles are used for the guide and the large profile overlap guarantees perfect stability.
The use of special wear profiles also increases the intervals between greasing which is particularly useful for the Bottling Industry.
The forks are screwed on to the gliding profiles and are no longer welded.
For volume attachments up to 3200 kg capacity at 600 mm loadcentre distance, all four forks are identical and interchangeable, i.e one replacement fork is sufficient.
It is expected that the interchangeability of the inner and outer forks will double the life of the forks by spreading the wear on the forks more evenly over a prolonged period.
The T 429 is fitted with the thousand fold proofed sideshift components of the P2 sideshifter.
Therefore an end of stroke reduction is ensured.
The lower guiders can move efficiently and easily over supporting rollers.
B and B Attachments is certain that this new range of KAUP multi-pallet handlers will become indispensable to a wide range of industries for a cross section of applications.
They will enhance the standard range of KAUP bespoke products currently available from B and B Attachments.
