Administrators for the WTC Group, suppliers of MIG and TIG equipment, have sold certain assets to BDI Europa, which will manufacture and supply the WTC range of products.

Jan Philip Browne, Chairman of BDI Europa (BDIE), Orrell, Wigan, UK announces the purchase of certain assets from the Administrators for the WTC Group The purchase exclusively authorises BDIE to manufacture and supply the range of products previously offered by the WTC Group, Products and brands purchased from the WTC Group, include the entire WTC TIG and Plasma Torch programmes, particularly WTC Master, Craftsman and International Range of TIG torches, heads and spare parts, and WTC Plasma torches, heads and spare parts

BDI Europa's purchase included inventory, tooling, manufacturing and assembly equipment that will ensure the ongoing supply of WTC branded products to the professional welding industry in the UK and globally.

According to Mr.Jan Browne, "Adding WTC brand products to BDIE's market offering is a logical strategic development for our firm.

WTC products are known as top quality, premium tools by the worlds welding professionals.

The WTC range complements the quality-end position BDIE has developed in the UK welding market through our supply of Tregaskiss "Tough Gun" brand Manual and Robotic MIG torches and consumables.

We look forward to supporting the customers and distributors previously supplied by the WTC Group.".
