Beko appoints general manager

On September 19 and 20, Beko Technologies Ltd will be hosting a Bekoblizz Workshop for the plastics industry at Polymer Training in Telford, Shropshire.
Joining Beko in 1999 with over 10 years experience of working in compressed air distribution, Richard held the position of area sales manager responsible for all sales of Beko products to end users and distributors within the Midland region.
Richard was then promoted to the position of Bekoblizz product manager for the UK and several European countries where he was responsible for developing the market for Beko Technologies' specialist Bekoblizz deep cooling system for the plastics industry.
These roles have provided Richard with invaluable experience of all aspects of Beko products and with specialist knowledge of precisely controlled dry compressed air systems.
"My main objective is to develop Beko's position in the challenging compressed air market place," said Richard.
"The aim is to expand our sales force significantly by the end of the year, focusing on continued sales growth and providing excellent customer support for new and existing customers." Richard has undertaken a number of courses that will help him in his new position including a diploma in compressed air management (DipCam) and a City and Guilds accredited British Polymer certificate where he received excellent results.
