Largest range of parting-off and grooving tools

"We took the decision to apply for accreditation as it has increasingly become a pre-qualification requirement for suppliers to certain industries, such as aerospace and defence," said Brunswick Tooling's managing director, Paul Briggs.
"This now opens up the potential for a much wider customer base".
Brunswick Tooling has seen a significant shift in customer demand for bespoke, specialist tooling, accreditation in design as well as manufacture, supply and repair as being particularly important.
"Ninety per cent of our output is bespoke tooling made specifically for individual applications, and our accreditation applies not only to the range of Brunswick high precision reamers, but also to manufacture of indexable insert, braced and solid carbide tooling," said Briggs.
Brunswick Tooling has met this increasing customer demand by investing in 5-axis CNC grinding machine tools to produce solid carbide tooling.
Briggs concluded, "Achieving BS EN ISO 9001 accreditation will also provide an added impetus to the continuing development of our export business, particularly in Belgium and the USA (which now accounts for over 20% of turnover) where we are seeing increasing activity, especially in the high volume automotive sub-contractor sector.
In addition, it will enable us to expand more freely into other markets where we already have a foothold, such as France and Sweden.".
