Digital texture analyser reaches
milestone
Only eight months after its launch Brookfield Engineering and Brookfield Viscometers has sold the 200th new design digital LFRA Texture Analyser.
Only eight months after its launch Brookfield Engineering and Brookfield Viscometers has sold the 200th new design digital LFRA Texture Analyser Originally developed in conjunction with Leatherhead Research for testing gelatine to international Bloom Test standards the latest LFRA is now available in four load capacities, 100g, 1000g, 1500g and 4500g and is being welcomed into both food and non food industries
The new 4500g range instrument is capable of carrying out a wide range of test methods previously the province of much larger and more expensive equipment.
A wide range of accessories allows for bend and compression, snap testing, forward back extrusion, adhesive tack testing, shear force and more.
The new LFRA can be used in stand alone mode with four pre set menus or with Brookfield's new Texture Pro-Lite software for enhanced methods including Texture Profile Analysis.
