Prior to his tenure as president and CEO of SIG Combibloc Americas, Eckols served 16 years with the Cherry Burrell Corporation, a leading packaging and processing equipment manufacturer, Eckols was president of Cherry Burrell's process equipment manufacturing and engineering business in Louisville, Kentucky.
Eckols brings a strong background in both domestic as well as international sales and marketing and extensive product development experience.
He holds a B.B.A.
degree from the University of Texas at Austin, with continuing education in international marketing at Harvard and finance at the Amos Tuck Business School, Dartmouth College.
Eckols served on the board of directors of the National Food Processors Association, the board of Dairy Food Industry Suppliers Association and the Dairy Food Industry Suppliers Foundation Board.
