Blum NovoTest reported that exhibiting at the recent UK MACH 2008 event brought 'remarkable' enquiry levels, including from users of multi-function, multi-axis machine tools.
The workshop will include a variety of companies talking about the improvements they have achieved by the addition of non-contact measurement and the ways in which they have implemented a system.
It will also include details of the systems available and how they can simply and inexpensively be added to an existing production line.
Areas of production to be covered include the reduction of scrap, lights out operation, economic tool setting, and part measurement as an in-line production process.
Running for two days, the workshop on Wednesday 26th March 2003 is designed to demonstrate how OEMs, OEIs, and machine tool agents can increase the value of their machines and therefore their sales by incorporating non-contact measurement systems.
On Thursday 27th March 2003 the workshop will demonstrate the value of non-contact measurements systems to the end user.
The workshop will be held at the Wedgwood Visitor Centre in Stoke-on-Trent, and includes a tour of the fascinating Visitor Centre.
It will start at 10.00am and is expected to finish by 3.30pm.
