The Clinotronic Plus's three easy to use buttons and highly visible digital display allows access to the units many useful facilities including both relative and absolute modes.
To assist the operator when the unit is used in awkward to access area's Wyler has developed a new optional cordless remote control.
* Micrometers - Bowers Metrology has also introduced, in the Sylvac micrometer range, the advanced S Mike series.
With a measuring range of 0 - 102mm achieved with only three instruments, (0 - 30mm, 30 - 66mm, 66 - 102mm), the cost effective new range boast many impressive features, including the following.
* Smart inductive sensor (SIS) technology.
* Automatic stand-by mode with automatic reactivation by the motion of the measuring shaft.
* Switchable measuring forces of 5N or 10N.
* Saved origin.
* A contactless data output facility.
* A large easy to read digital display.
* A true metric/inch conversion.
* Easy to use preset facility.
Equally at home when used within an inspection department or on a shop-floor the new ergonomically designed micrometers have non-rotating measuring shafts with a high motion speed of 12mm per rotation.
The range is water and coolant resistant, IP 67 (according to IEC 60529), ensuring that they can be used in previous 'no-go' areas for this type of instrument.
Bowers Metrology is the sole UK agent for the Sylvac range of Swiss electronic measuring instruments.
