Indexing reamer has 2 micron repeat accuracy
The latest generation of high performance reaming tools combine levels of accuracy and surface finish with ease of adjustment and cost savings not previously available.
The move was triggered off by a 30% growth in business, which is probably unprecedented in the prevailing trading conditions.
This growth had been fuelled by their new tooling developments, which necessitated the purchase of a Walter Power Plus Diamond grinding and erosion machine.
Since they were unable to physically accommodate the machine at their original premises, the move to a new location become imperative.
With a production area of 12,000ft2, and office space in excess of 3,000ft2, the company now has the facilities to provide an even better service to both their UK and overseas customers.
Three additional machines have also been recently purchased, including both CNC and manual, which combined with their increased production area, has enabled the company to increase manufacture of a subsidiary range of special purpose machine tools.
This complements their long established manufacture of bespoke tooling for drilling, boring and grooving together with finishing tools for reaming, spot facing, chamfering and de-burring.
Gerry Minshall, managing director of Bencere Elliott Ltd comments, "We were in our original premises, a former brewery, for nearly 40 years.
We have moved to an equally historic and picturesque location, where I believe Le Mans racing cars used to be built, which gives us so much extra space, but with potential for even further expansion if required.
We now have the facilities to capitalise on our new tooling developments, and even further increase our export markets which currently stand at 61% of overall turnover.".
