Keep compressed air cool and save costs

Refrigerant compressed air dryers that provide environmental and economic benefits are ozone- and environmentally friendly in operation and need only a minimum amount of refrigerant.

After a period of in-house development, Boge has launched the DR series of refrigerant dryers that provide environmental and economic benefits One of the most economic methods of treating compressed air is with a refrigerant dryer

By cooling the compressed air down to near freezing point, the water and oil vapour are condensed and particles of dirt are bound together, the resulting condensate is then separated from the air flow.

In most cases, the pressure dewpoint need only be a few degrees lower than the ambient temperature to prevent condensate from forming in the pipes, said Boge to manufacturingtalk.com.

The new DR series from Boge have been designed and certified at +3 deg C dewpoint (referred to a 25 deg C ambient and a 35 deg C dryer inlet temperature) in accordance with the requirements of DIN ISO 7183.

This ensures consistent delivery of high quality compressed air.

A low internal pressure differential also ensures optimum running costs are achieved.

Boge attaches a great deal of importance to the environmentally friendly manufacture, operation and final waste-disposal of the refrigerant dryers.

The DR series dryers are ozone friendly, environmentally friendly in operation and only a minimum amount of refrigerant is required.

All DR dryers are fitted with a loss free automatic condensate drain.

They have a simplified control alongside a pressure dewpoint indicator.

The DR series has a maximum operating pressure of 16 bar with flow capacities ranging from 0.33 - 27.5m3/min. Request a free brochure from Boge Compressors ...
