Designed to meet the most stringent guarding legislation (EN292, 294 and 811), protective barrier systems help manufacturers quickly and economically construct safe working environments.

Designed to meet the most stringent guarding legislation (EN292, 294 and 811), Bosch Rexroth's EcoSafe protective barrier systems help manufacturers quickly and economically construct safe and aesthetically pleasing working environments To deliver these benefits, EcoSafe comprises a range of pre-assembled, ready-to-use guard elements developed to simplify site planning and reduce assembly time

With the option of wire mesh screens or protective panes/panels, EcoSafe suits perimeter guarding, machine enclosure and factory fencing applications ranging from machine tools and conveyor networks to welding bays, parts stores and even clean-rooms.

Also, thanks to the clean lines offered by its anodised aluminium surfaces, EcoSafe provides an attractive guarding solution in keeping with modern manufacturing environments.

When compared with fabricating heavy, cumbersome and corrosion-prone steel guarding systems, EcoSafe's modular, durable, bolt-together aluminium design eliminates the need for welding, painting, special tooling and skilled labour.

To keep pace with changing manufacturing environments the bolted design also allows rapid disassembly and reuse: time after time.

Having designed an EcoSafe installation (CAD planning software is available), assembly couldn't be simpler.

After marking the perimeter on the floor the support posts are anchored, 'hook and hang' brackets installed and panels screwed into place.

For added peace of mind, published engineering data for most components takes the guesswork out of calculating loads and capacities.

To complement the introduction of EcoSafe, Bosch Rexroth has increased its range of accessories to allow the rapid development of custom barrier systems.

For example, clamping profiles are available for vibration-free support of different strength panes and panels ranging from 1.5 to 11mm thick.

Factory-trained structural framing experts at Bosch Rexroth's authorised aluminium extrusion partners provide support during the design, engineering and application stages.

This UK-wide distributor network stocks a full inventory of common components, with customers able to take delivery of their EcoSafe guarding system in bulk, kit or fully assembled form.

Bosch Rexroth's product manager for aluminium framing and transfer systems, Steve Yardley, said: "EcoSafe offers more versatility for money than any competitive perimeter guarding or enclosure system".

"EcoSafe guarding installations are quickly assembled using standard stock components".

"Then, if requirements change, the system can easily be reused or modified".

"Aesthetics are great, giving factories a clean, modern look".

"The knowledge and experience of our authorised distributors, plus direct access to Bosch Rexroth's engineering resources, guarantees the performance of EcoSafe installations".

"By understanding customers' needs at a local level, our distributors can provide a fast, efficient personal service able to accommodate special requirements.".
