Barco's PLANTMASTER system is in use in over 500 manufacturing sites worldwide and supports plant management in achieving the highest possible efficiency and quality levels.

The new PLANTMASTER release meets the most demanding customers requirements and proves Barco's commitment to keep up with the latest technologies and manufacturing standards.

One of the revolutionary new developments is the availability of a full back up and recovery mode.

All latest generation Barco data units can now be equipped with an additional storage capacity for local storage of all collected data in case of server breakdown or power failure.

A period of up to 24h of server breakdown can be bridged without any loss of information.

As Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) continues to gain acceptance as an effective method to measure production performance, PLANTMASTER also includes the worldwide-accepted OEE reporting standard for efficiency and quality monitoring.

The planning module in the PLANTMASTER system has been extended to cope with today's industry requirements.

With the support for KanBan based production, PLANTMASTER now fully fits in the automotive suppliers logistics concept.

With the new 'Tool configurator', production planners can configure their tools during the scheduling process, based on actual demand and availability of tool frames and inserts.

The 'Tool configurator' keeps track of all frames and inserts used in the plant.

To fully meet demands from suppliers to the automotive, food and pharmacy industry, a very powerful software module for traceability is available as an option.

This module is seamlessly integrated with the scheduling, monitoring and SPC applications.
