Dairymaster choose Barco
Dairymaster have choosen Barco to supply a wireless Manufacturing Execution System Operating from its head office in Causeway.

Dairymaster said that over 95 per cent of the components for its range of milking, feeding and scraping systems are manufactured in-house to ensure quality standards for its customers.
Injection moulding machines and manual assembly stations will be connected to the Barco Plantmaster MES using Barco's wireless data units, providing a system architecture that offers savings on cable installation costs to the customer.
To provide real-time visibility of machine performance, quality information and also energy consumption data, the latest Plantmaster system will prove an invaluable tool, believes Barcovision.
Furthermore, operatives will be able to configure ad-hoc reports with the design tools provided by Plantmaster.
The need for manual data entry of production schedules, for instance, will be removed through integration of an automatic link between Plantmaster and Dairymaster's existing scheduling system.
This will empower users with real-time information on order progress on the shop floor, added Barcovision.
