Further zinc diecasting machine added

A Brunel product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team Feb 6, 2008

UK subcontract metalworking company has added another zinc diecasting machine to meet increasing demands for its own product range of locking systems, hinges and handles.

Metalworking company, Brunel, based Tamworth, Staffordshire based manufacturer of building hardware, has added a further DMZ 80 tonf (800kN) zinc diecasting machine.

The machine will help Brunel to cope with the demands of new customers along with plans to expand its own product range of locking systems, hinges and handles.

Brunel said it is well placed to design and manufacture any bespoke components and assemblies that are made from zinc castings or metal pressings including a decorative finish.

The company also has extensive outsourcing ability for items such as plastics components and turned parts making it able to offer a 'one stop' source for purchases of bespoke assemblies or sub-contracted components.
