Ian Barnes, BSOFTB's sales and marketing director said: "Most companies in the business already have some kind of cable management system.
However, in the main these tend to be in house systems which only deliver part of the functionality of iPIC.
The R and D time we have invested in iPIC and our cable management applications far exceeds what is generally possible for an in-house team.
We believe that companies developing and installing cabling ought to concentrate on their core business and let us help them to migrate to a Windows-based solution that will solve their cable management issues at a fraction of the cost and hassle" To reduce training time, speed up achieving return on investment and increase productivity, BSOFTB has also rationalised the number of screens within the user interface.
By improving navigation between screens and employing tabs to minimise the number of iPIC screens usability is also increased.
BSOFTB is already working with a number of leading CAD systems to develop all the necessary interfaces.
"Anyone scheduling more than 1,000 cables will benefit from iPIC and there is no better time to review your cabling solution requirement," Barnes, concluded.
