Metal Detectable Matting Is Chemically
Resistant
BS Teasdale and Son has launched its BST Detectable Electrostatic Conductive Matting.
BS Teasdale and Son has launched its BST Detectable Electrostatic Conductive Matting Manufactured from SEBS rubber and with stainless steel conductive additive, the materials are said to produce a magnetically detectable matting that is also electrostatic conductive
In addition, the matting also has chemical resistance properties and is manufactured from food approved ingredients.
The electrical properties of the matting would allow it to be used in ATEX environments, for example in powder handling.
The matting is claimed to be magnetically detectable with a service temperature range of -50O degrees C - 1,30O degrees C and is UV, ozone and weather resistant, as well as being fully recyclable, and hot oil, water, alcohol and acid resistant.
