Laser-based system uses a multi-camera gauge head to measure extruded profiles, in real-time, to assure product quality during the extrusion process.

Beta LaserMike, a worldwide manufacturer of precision measurement and control systems, announces the ProfileScan 4000 System for measurement of extruded profiles The ProfileScan 4000 measures extruded profiles, in real-time, to assure product quality during the extrusion process

Profiles pass through the multi-camera gauge head where they are measured by a non-contact laser/camera system.

The PC-based graphical user interface simplifies the input of part specifications, drawings, and tolerances while providing instant recall of multiple products via recipe selection.

The ProfileScan 4000 can be combined with the DataPro 5000 which provides the enhanced SPC, trending and reporting you have come to expect from the Beta LaserMike DataPro products.

By adding the ProfileScan 2000 control system directly to the die head, a complete profile solution capable of high speed, instantaneous control, and precision in-process measurements allows you to take real control of the entire profile extrusion process.

Beta LaserMike is a global organization committed to innovate, design, manufacture, and service precision measurement and control systems for the wire and cable, fiber optic, pipe/profile/tube, primary metals, non-woven and dimensional metrology markets.
