Stresstech Group specialises in providing instruments for manufacturing quality control has recently joined the British Gear Association The Companies products and services are available through a global network of offices, agents and representatives, and their instruments are installed as part of a production line or in a quality control laboratory

The process utilises a Barkhausen Noise Analysis (BNA) non-destructive technique to evaluate residual stresses and microstructural changes in steels.

It is applicable to control grinding, heat treatment and shot peening processes on products such as bearings, gears, camshafts, crankshafts, valves and landing gear.

The results are used for adjusting production parameters to reduce production waste and cost and are effective tools in the study of material properties and development of new components, processes and solutions.
