Tooling partnership to show new systems
at EMO
A new tooling partnership will show high performance driven and static tooling, tooling presetters, modular boring systems, backspotfacing tools, and workholding systems at EMO 2003.

Advancing Parsetter TMM 2000 systems, Bristol Tool announces the launch of a PGC-4 software upgrade.
This new version allows one touch measuring and offers end users step-by-step wizards for tool building and automated measuring routines.
Bristol Tool will also have high-precision, quick-change spindles, used in Parsetter TMM 2000 Series machines, on display at the show.
These TMM Spindles offer universal clamping on the retention knob and ease of use for the operator.
With a variety of spindle cartridge options, Parlec can adapt spindles to fit precise application needs.

Backspotfacing tools - Bristol Tool will also be showing a range of backspotfacing tools.
The Autofacer tools perform manual or automatic backspotfacing and counterboring operations on any type of CNC, automatic or manual machine tools.
There is a wide selection available, with indexable-type cutter blades available for most applications.
The positive cutter blade action ensures reliability, even in horizontal applications.
Driven tooling - Bristol Tool is best known for their wide range of high-performance driven and static tooling.
As a preferred supplier of driven and static tooling to a number of worlds leading CNC lathe and machining centre manufacturers, Bristol Tool has gained a reputation as producers of high-quality tooling at affordable prices.
Among the items on display will be driven tooling for Citizen, Mori Seiki Hitech, Nakamura Tome, Romi, Tornos and Yamazaki CNC lathes.
The range on display at EMO will include standard, horizontal and vertical driven tools.
Special application tools such as adjustable driven heads and double-ended tools will also be displayed.
Workholding - the Parlec range of workholding equipment will be making its first appearance at EMO.
On display will be an Eight-Station Tombstone Vice, for horizontal machining.
In addition, a Double-Station Lay-Down 100mm Vice will also be displayed.
The base and the body of these vices are manufactured from one piece, ensuring that the system is extremely rigid.
This design also gives improved accuracy and repeatability.
Bristol Tool will also be exhibiting a wide selection of inside diameter and outside diameter standard and special Workholding products.
The workholding range on display will include a selection of special chucks, mandrels and sleeves, which cover the majority of machining situations.
A selection of Bristol chucks will also be on display.
Toolholding - Bristol will also be demonstrating Parlec's high speed tooling line, featuring its balanceable Toolholders with patented radial offset technology.
System capabilities of up to.5gram millimeters in each plane create a toolholder assembly that optimizes performance levels.
Adjustable down to G1.0 in most toolholder assemblies, the holders provide an affordable and effective system solution.
Bristol Tool will be displaying a wide range of toolholding products at EMO.
Among the items on display will be Rotary Coolant Adapters, which are available in a wide variety of shank options.
These units are able to achieve pressures of up to 100 bar, yet remain virtually maintenance free.
The latest models have internal and external coolant options, allowing both oil hole drills and conventional drills to be effectively used.
There are also a range of output options available, including collet chucks and sidelocks.
Bristol Tool will also be displaying a range of Speed Increasers at EMO.
These Speed Increasers are designed to improve the performance and efficiency of your existing machining centres and are available with a wide range of shanks.
Bristol Tool's range of Angle Heads will be on display at EMO.
The range of Angle Heads on show will include Fixed, Adjustable and 90deg Angle Heads, which are all available in a number of shank and output options.
