GlaxoSmithKline is using amber glass for the first time for one of the Veno's cough medicines However, the 100ml amber bottle manufactured by Beatson Clark complements the existing range of uniform clear glass bottles, also from Beatson Clark, in 100ml and 160ml sizes

Veno's brand manager Stephanie Babcock said: "Due to new EU directives, we chose to package the Kids Chesty Cough Syrup in amber glass but it was important the new bottle fitted in with the current Veno's identity.".
