Ergonomic air tools reduce RSI risk
The ergonomic body design on a range of professional air tools - including wrenches, sanders, hammer drill and die grinders - reduce operators' risk of developing repetitive strain injury.
Roebuck professional air tools have been ergonomically designed to help reduce repetitive strain injury (RSI) from vibration.
BuckHickman InOne said that the air tools feature an ergonomic composite body housing.
The housing provides superior comfort and strength, a non-slip 'feel' during operation and is very lightweight.
Products in the range include three impact wrenches, three ratchet wrenches, two random orbital sanders, a hammer drill and three mini die grinders.
Impact wrenches are available in 3/8in and two 1/2in square drive tools.
All feature a twin hammer mechanism which provides more power and smooth balanced blows while the handle exhaust directs air away from the operator and work piece.
Each has an energy efficient motor for maximum performance and long life.
The ratchet wrenches are available in 1/4in, 3/8in and 1/2in square drive.
The 3/8in and 1/2in models feature a soft grip body for operator comfort.
They are compact and lightweight making them ideal for confined working areas.
A fast run down speeds up tightening and a durable head design provides a long life.
Two x 152mm diameter random orbital sanders are available in non-vac and self-generated vac versions.
Both models feature a built in power regulator for optimised power control.
The hammer drill has a T grip handle design with an over moulding grip for comfort and reduced vibration.
A feather trigger gives the operator precise control and a quick-change tool retainer provides a simple and fast accessory change over.
The tool is supplied in a heavy-duty tool case with five assorted chisels.
Finally, the three mini die grinders are available in a straight, 90 deg and extended handle design.
All models have a 6mm collet chuck, rubber grip body for operator comfort and rear air regulator.
Commented BuckHickman InOne's product manager, Graham Blackburn: "This new range of air powered tools has been designed very much with the operator in mind, they are lightweight yet powerful".
"Each has been designed with its function in mind.
