Linear measurement transducers need not
re-home
Linear measurement transducer provides absolute position information upon request, eliminating the need to re-home after power-loss and has more interface options.
Our new Quadrature output option is now available on both the Micropulse B and P transducers giving designers more interface options for connecting to motion-based systems The Quadrature output interfaces directly to standard encoder inputs (90deg out-of-phase, A and B)

Ultrasonics protect products in conveyor system
The Microsonic MIC range of ultrasonic sensors have been used by Ace Assembly Systems to solve the problem of product damage when transferring from their Platen System conveyor to packing cases
But unlike other encoders, the Micropulse Absolute Quadrature has the following added features: * Provides absolute position information upon request, eliminating the need to re-home after power-loss.
* Operates in either synchronous or free-running modes.
* Selectable position resolution (1, 2, 5, 10 micron).
* Selectable pulse frequencies (10, 208, 416, 833kHz).
With their unique design, high protection rating and ease of installation, the BTL-P style transducer is the ideal alternative to potentiometers, glass scales and LVDT's.
With its heavy duty stainless steel pressure tube and its maintenance-free housing, the BTL-Z rod style transducer is the ideal choice for a wide variety of automation and process technology areas, even under extreme ambient conditions.
Balluff have a complete range of photoelectric measurement sensors ranging from 20mm to 6000mm detection.
