Manufacturer of electronic demagnetizers and magnetizers has developed its product to a very high level, adapting leading-edge technology including the needs of bearing makers.

The Bussi Elettronica Industriale company, Italy, specialises in manufacturing electronic demagnetizers and magnetizers Founded in 1969, to provide for the needs of bearing manufacturers, the company makes and patents an innovative type of electronic demagnetizer

Over the years, Bussi has developed its product to a very high level, adapting leading-edge technology to all the fields in which a high degree of demagnetization is necessary.

Using technology similar to demagnetization, in recent years, Bussi Elettronica has developed a second product range : capacitive discharge magnetizers for magnets, isotrops and anisotropes of all sizes and direct current magnetizers.

Magnetization systems for applications in line and off line for AlniCo, Ferrites, NdFeb, and SmCo Magnetization of assembled and non-assembled products.

Demagnetizers - applications are: * Bearing industry - a wide range of models to demagnetize rings, bearings, rollers and seals.

* Automotive - demagnetizers for various parts and components.

Magnetisers - applications are: * Motors and gear-motors, loudspeakers, sensors, magnetic profiles and sheets, rare earth magnet, magnetic chucks couplings and brakes, clamping magnets.

Magnetisers and de-magnetisers, product types: * Bussi Demagnetizers: D-F (Flexlink) series and D-R (Rotzinger) series - the D-F series demagnetizers for FlexLink and the D-R series for Rotzinger fit into the conveyor systems of the two brands.

These models consist of an electronic cabinet with support and a demagnetizing coil.

The metal parts, usually rings and bearings, lie on the conveyer chain.

The chain brings them into the coil and, when the piece is in the middle of the coil, the unit releases a capacity discharge without stopping the line.

The performances guaranteed by Bussi demagnetizers, include: minimum residual magnetism; complete reliability; high productivity; easy motion with no magnetic impediment; minimum power consumption; eeasy adaptability to client's production lines and customisation to adapt Bussi technology to all demands.

* Bussi Demagnetizers series D-V (Vertical Rolling) - the D-V series demagnetisers are made to demagnetize all metal parts, usually rings and rollers, inside rolling channels.

These models consist of an electronic cabinet with support and a demagnetizing coil.

The channel brings them into the coil and when the piece is in the middle of the coil, the unit releases a capacity discharge.

The demagnetization coils are designed to be easily adapted to rolling channels.

* Bussi Demagnetizer RDU3-A (Automatic ring Demagnetizing Unit) - the model RDU3-A, is a fully automatic unit consisting of an electronic demagnetizing and handling unit with a conveyor belt.

It has also a compressed air system for top coil height regulation and applying a load to the rings during demagnetization.

The RDU3-A has been created to demagnetize large bearing rings: Diameters 120 to 420mm; Height 20 to 200mm.

The versatile working of this machine guarantees complete adaptability to a wide-range of applications.

Functioning sequence: The ring is loaded onto the conveyor belt, it is detected and measured, transported to the centre of the demagnetizing coils.

At this stage, the conveyor belt stops, the coil descends pneumatically while a load is applied to the ring to be demagnetized.

The coil rises and an enabling signal are given when a new ring is delivered.

The conveyor belt starts again and the demagnetized ring is unloaded.

* Bussi Demagnetizer series DM-CB (conveyor belt) - the new compact D-CB with conveyer belt demagnetizer.

This model is particularly suitable for applications where it is necessary to guarantee first class demagnetizing results and reduce the overall dimensions of the machine to the minimum.

Structure: an electronic cabin with support and, separately, a conveyer belt with integrated coil and relative support.

Versatile: the modular engineering of the machine consisting of an electronic cabinet and conveyer-belt-with-coil block makes installation in very tight spaces possible.

Compact: the size of the conveyer belt is reduced to the minimum while still ensuring the demagnetization of a many sizes of rings and other parts.

Simple: easy to adapt to any industrial layout, the machine is productive immediately.

* Bussi ball bearings contact angle measuring machine - 'Traditional' angular contact ball bearing measuring devices still use manual or semi-manual machines: a low degree of precision is obtained and the process time is long.

The Bussi contact angle measuring machine is extremely precise, reliable, fully automatic and fast.

It combines electronics with top-level engineering and pneumatics.

It features the following.

Data setting: a computer stores the bearing data it is necessary to measure and is input just once.

Every time there is a type changeover, only the bearing code needs to be recalled, thereby avoiding error and time wasting.

Storage capacity: 500 types of bearing.

Automatic measurement: it makes two checks simultaneously, the contact angle measure and that all the balls are present.

Field of measurement: 0 deg to 89.9 deg.

Precision and repeatability: precise to +/-0.2 deg with high measurement repeatability.

This performance can depend on the level of precision achieved when the bearing is constructed.

Measurement speed: the process is extremely quick, between 14 and 17s, with a capacity of up to 257 pieces/h.

Maximum type changeover: <4 min.

There is also optional automation equipment for production lines.
