Biscor is celebrating with the official launch of its new premises on June 9.
The itinerary will include a short tour of the premises and the Lord Mayor of Bradford will unveil a plaque presented to Biscor by DuPont to commemorate the event.
That will be followed with a brief speech by Gil Wilkinson, a member of Biscor's management team and Gerry Sutcliffe, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Employment Relations and Consumer Affairs.
Gil Wilkinson, acquisitions and HR manager, who has been with the company for most of its 30 years, said: "Biscor is now a global player and has demonstrated the drive to provide world class products to our clients." Siobhan Collins Lee, Biscar's head of sales, added: "Our 30th anniversary ceremony will denote a new phase in the company's development and we have invited guests, including our suppliers and customers from all over the world." As well as manufacturing the base fabric, Biscor is a converter of high performance coated fabrics.
The company said that it employs skilled techniques - amongst them, heat bonding, laminating, machine cutting and sewing, with special machines to produce conveyor belts and other fabricated items.
The resultant conveyor belts and adhesive and non-adhesive barrier sealing tapes are clakimed to have unlimited applications.
Biscor Teflon tapes and fabrics are used in a variety of applications, including the sealing of plastics and packaging throughout many sectors.
Biscor belts are used in a number of specialist areas, such as food, screen-printing and other similar industries.
