Boxes Edson has been contracted by Kidderminster-based Colart Fine Arts and Graphics, a supplier of artists' materials, to provide cartons for two craft kits from its Dryad range.

To provide protection and strength, Boxes chose a 600 micron coated white lined chipboard and a double walled glued lid and base construction.

Both cartons are printed in five colours with a high gloss UV varnish.

Boxes Edson's business development manager FMCG sector, John Morgan, commented: "We have been working with Colart Fine Arts to develop new constructions in both conventional folding cartons and plastics over the past 12 months and we're delighted this research has now resulted in our first contract with this world famous company.
