Software licenses can be exchanged to accommodate changing business requirements, replace underutilised licenses or trade up and adopt technology which is new to the market.
This opportunity occurs each year on the anniversary of an organisation's Select subscription.
As an added benefit, the assigned value of any software exchanged is at the current list price, rather than the cost at time of acquisition.
Select provides subscribers with the ability to maximise license utilisation and minimise the burden of administration through pooled and trust licensing.
With pooling, licenses are made available to any user when needed; the licenses are stored on a server rather than being permanently assigned to individual computers.
Therefore, all licenses are available for use by the entire team more of the time, leading to much higher utilisation rates and a greater return on investment (ROI).
