Polytechnic's architecture and engineering students will benefit from hands-on experience with more than 45 software products from Bentley.
Bentley Systems has announced that The School of the Built Environment, Singapore Polytechnic, a prominent polytechnic with an enrollment of more than 16,500 students, has renewed its agreement with the BE (Bentley Empowered) Careers Network program Through this program, Singapore Polytechnic is helping students graduate with market-ready technology skills

Careers network program for technology institute
The Shibaura Institute of Technology has selected the BE Careers Network program to help its students graduate with market-ready technology skills.
The new three-year agreement grants Singapore Polytechnic an unlimited academic campus-wide license - including free upgrades and updates - for more than 45 software solutions.
It also provides ongoing professional software training programs for the school's lecturers to help them present current and comprehensive course material to their students.
Said Peter Lee, director of The School of the Built Environment, "We find the BE Careers program to be a perfect complement to our school's widely acclaimed curricula in the fields of architecture, engineering, and construction".
"It helps prepare our graduates to join some of the most prestigious infrastructure organisations in the world".
He continued, "In addition to providing our students with the same software used by infrastructure professionals around the world, the program keeps our lecturers up to date on the latest software advances".
"It even includes a student license scheme, which enables students to explore this technology on their own, increasing their depth of understanding and augmenting their ability to apply it".
Since the year 2000, Bentley has trained more than 50 lecturers at The School of the Built Environment, and the school has produced more than 2500 new graduates prepared to help improve the world's infrastructure.
A number of these graduates have already been involved in world-class projects, such as the Changi Water Reclamation Plant of Public Utilities Board and the Mass Rapid Transit of Land Transport Authority.
Each year, Singapore Polytechnic students in The School of the Built Environment make a strong showing in the annual BE Awards of Excellence student competition.
Last year, Singapore Polytechnic student Cheng Ngai Ng won a BE Award in the Architectural Design category for his project "Talking Galleria". Request a free brochure from Bentley Systems ...
