Half day seminar encourages dialogue between geospatial professionals and academics

Bentley Systems will host a half-day Geospatial Research Seminar at BE Conference Europe The seminar, which has been held annually the past four years, is once again being organised by Delft University of Technology, OTB, Section GIS-Technology, and Bentley

The theme is "Creating Spatial Information Infrastructures".

The Geospatial Research Seminar is colocated with Bentley's BE Conference Europe and attendance at the seminar is free to all.

Attendees of the full conference can register for these sessions online.

The event will be held at BE Conference Europe, being held June 10-14 at the Hilton London Metropole in the United Kingdom on Monday, June 11, 2007, from 1 pm to 6 pm.

Bentley Geospatial encourages and supports a constant dialogue between geospatial professionals and the academic community.

The purpose of this dialogue is to ensure that Bentley is both contributing to and learning from the geospatial initiatives driven and influenced by the academic community.

The Bentley Geospatial Research Seminar is an opportunity for those attending BE Conference Europe to be exposed to important thinking about future standards and the way in which spatial data will be shaped and organised thematically to further support software interoperability and easier data exchange.
