Presswork firm adds assembly cell

Having recently added an automated production and assembly cell, a sheet metalworking and presswork subcontractor has launched an updated Web site describing services.

The presswork division of 4B Braime Elevator Components has just launched a Web site Located in Leeds, Yorkshire, UK the company has also completed an automated production and assembly cell, which is scheduled to start manufacturing in early November

Braime told manufacturingtalk.com that the cell forms another phase of the company's programme of continual improvement and further reinforces Braime's reputation as an industry leader in the manufacture of metal pressings and sub-assemblies.

The presswork division operates a wide range of presses and benefits from extensive knowledge in its toolroom and the manufacturing process.

Braime can produce parts from high volume progression tool presswork right through to complex, heavy-duty, deep-drawn pressings (stampings).

Over the last few years Braime has also increased its sub-assembly capabilities, enabling the company to produce a wide range of finished products to meet specific customer needs.

The company told Manufacturingtalk that it also produces elevator components such as buckets, belting and belt fasteners, bolts, chains and sprockets.
