A full diameter PE insert is clipped to the inside of the lid, which can be moulded in a different colour if desired.
The edge of that insert fits inside the top of the container producing a nearly hermetic seal so the lid closes with an audible and positive 'click'.
As the outer shell is a separate part, which is offered in SAN or PP, it is possible to combine transparency and colour.
That makes it possible to blend up to four colours in a single pack.
