The main reason why a subcontract wire and spark erosion subcontractor selected a SolidCut CAM system was that it was easier than anything else it had tested and all staff could use it.

The latest version has seen significant advances in efficiency and ease of use.
With major releases at least once a year, PEPS SolidCut benefits from continuous development and enhancement.
Significant additions during this year have been in extending the range of CAD Design Integrators - many are shipped free with each licence, brand-new 3D Surface/Solid milling strategies, additional tools and wizards for handling and machining solid model design data, and improved automation within the multi-axis laser solutions with improved and extended AutoCut functions.
Toolpath can be applied to many 3D and Tube components with the minimum of mouse-clicks.
Commented Terry Antrobus, director of sales and marketing; "Worldwide sales have seen a positive rise this year, with the US providing their best contribution ever.
Much of this can be attributed to the level of service provided to users.
SolidCut Wire and SolidCut Laser have been received particularly well in the US, with several large companies standardizing on the range.
The new developments will only further strengthen this position." The booth will be hosted by Camtek North America, US distributor for Camtek.
Also at the booth will be NestOne Solutions, distributor for Camtek's sister company, JETCAM.
The company will be demonstrating the JETCAM Expert range of CADCAM software for punching, profiling and routing.
