Adaptor converts top-hats into G-style mountings
Camden Electronics has introduced a neat adaptor that converts symmetric "top-hat" style DIN rail mounting products to asymmetric G-style mountings.
Fabricated in green UL94-V0 flame retardant PA66, the polarised mouldings feature professional rising clamp terminals to prevent incorrect cable entry and protect wires from damage.
The vertical female connector is designed to mate with the vertical or horizontal PCB mounting male terminals that are available in both closed and open ended styles.
Like other Camden PCB terminal blocks, the new 5.08mm pitch vertical female connectors offer anti solder wicking and guided pin alignment.
Mechanical characteristics include 2.5mm2 cable entry, 5 tinned phosphor bronze pin/terminal, 5 nickel copper flash brass rising clamp and M3 steel, 6 zinc, colour passivated and tropicalised 0.5Nm captive screws.
Specifications include 12A/380V rating, dielectric strength 2.5kV/60sec, insulation resistance 5M and working temperature range from -20 to +125degC (160degC for short periods).
