A new range of connectors provides push-in fast connection and disconnection on both the appliance and installation sides.
Camden Electronics has launched a new range of connectors that provides push-in fast connection and disconnection on both the appliance and installation sides Ideal for all lighting and other electrical applications, the new CPW series connectors are moulded in UL94-V2 self-extinguishing beige PA66 and are available in versions from two to five poles (2, 2+E, 3+E and 4+E)

Female clamp terminals get new pitch
Camden Electronics, the UK's prime source for PCB terminal blocks, has added to its vertical female plug-in rising clamp terminals with a new 5.08mm pitch version.
Three different types of earth connection are available encompassing internal fast earthing, screw earthing and plug-in earthing.
Versions without earthing can also be supplied and all types are available with or without fixing pins.
Terminals can be supplied with standard or custom markings on request.
Specifications include maximum voltage of 450V AC, working temperature from -5 to +85 degrees C, steel and copper insert and strapping steel insert strap.
Isolation wire length specifications range from 8 to 9mm for wires from 0.5 to 1.0mm2, 9 to 10mm for wires from 1.5 to 2.5mm2 and 9 to 11mm for capacitor circuits (test current of 24A).
The new CPW range also features a strain relief clamp that secures external conductors in lighting fixtures according to EN60598 and prevents conductors from twisting as well as protecting wire coatings from abrasion and friction.
Camden's CPW series connectors extend the company's latest terminal strip product line that encompasses a wide range of terminal strips and related connector components.
These include an extensive range of 12-pole terminal strips, screw to screwless connectors, plug and socket connectors, transformer connectors, high temperature resistant connection blocks and a wide range of related accessories.
