For use in energy management and heavy duty industrial heating and ventilating applications, PCB connectors can handle currents up to 57A and up to 750V.

Camden Electronics has launched a new range of PCB connectors that can handle currents up to 57A Ideal for use in energy management and heavy duty industrial heating and ventilating applications among many others, the CTB77 new connectors enable convenient connection of cables to PCBs

The new connectors are moulded from UL94V0 flame retardant grey polyamide PA66 and are available in two and three pole interlocking types and solid versions from four to twelve poles.

The two and three pole types feature a double interlocking mechanism for increased strength.

Specifications include current rating of 57A up to 750V (UL 40A/300V) with insulation resistance >= 5M ohms, dielectric strength >=3000V AC for 60s and 10mm2 (6AWG) cable entry.

The connectors feature a zinc plated steel professional rising clamp mechanism and guided pin alignment to ensure reliable connection.

Solder contacts are 5 tin plated nickel while the captive M4 screws are 7 micron zinc plated steel.

Operating temperature range is -20 to +125 deg C.

Ideal for use in energy management systems and heavy duty heating and ventilating control systems such as industrial washing machines and similar applications, the new CTB77 terminal blocks feature a range of international approvals including UL, cUL and VDE pending.
