AC power sources give high performance

An enhanced range of high performance AC power sources incorporate linear amplifier technology that gives high performance in bandwidth or frequency range, fast response, low distortion and noise.

Caltest instruments announce the availability of a new enhanced range of high performance AC power sources manufactured by USA-based Pacific Power Source Designated the AMX series, the models provide from 500VA to 12kVA in single sources, and up to 30kVA with linked or parallel sources.

They incorporate proven linear amplifier technology that provide the highest performance in terms of bandwidth or frequency range, fast response, low distortion and noise.

Linear is also ideal when output frequencies above 1kHz are required, and in EMC testing because of the low distortion coupled with fast response and high crest capability.

Interfaces can be RS232 or IEEE488.2 and are compliant with SCPI.

These innovative products are ideal for simulating domestic and aircraft AC main supplies for test purposes, and where aircraft systems, radar, and avionics equipment need a controllable local supply.
