Cortexa, the specialist provider of eLearning to the construction industry has developed an online training academy for Knauf Insulation.

Cortexa, the specialist provider of eLearning to the construction industry has developed an online training academy for Knauf Insulation (KI), the UK's leading insulation manufacturer of glass and rock mineral wool and extruded polystyrene (XPS) With a number of modules certified for Continuous Professional Development (CPD), the academy is designed to supply customers and staff with information on an extensive range of Knauf Insulation products, as well as keep pace with complex building regulations

The eight initial launch modules cover the following topics: 1 Acoustic Insulation and Part E of Building Regulations.

2 Energy Efficiency and Part L of Building Regulations.

As an architect requiring guidance to pass Building Regulations, a contractor needing to meet performance specifications or an insulation supplier wanting to offer customers the best possible advice, the Knauf Insulation Academy is an invaluable library of up-to-date information.

Knauf Insulation's learning portal is powered by Cortexa's unique Nereus framework, which provides Knauf Insulation with its own administrative interface enabling user groups, individual users and managers to be added.

Knauf Insulation can then monitor user progress, view all details, run reports and issue CPD certificates.

"Through the Academy, Cortexa has revolutionised the way we conduct our training," commented Stephen Wise, Market Development Manager, "it's the most flexible, informative means of delivering highly technical learning content in a clear and engaging way and it's easy to use.

By combining the online Academy with traditional, face-to-face presentations and practical demonstrations, our customers and staff can receive the most comprehensive and effective training possible.".
