Five-axis VMCs feature high precision tilt head
A range of 5-axis fixed table VMCs has a high precision spindle head that features up to +/-95 deg tilt in the A-axis and full 360 deg contouring in the C-axis - ideal for machining complex parts.
VMC offers full 5-axis/5-sides machining
Vertical machining centre with a 5-axis rotary table comfortably machines workpieces up to 400mm in diameter and 300mm high, and has up to 150 deg tilt capability.
Additionally, the independent spindle arrangement allows manufacturing of opposite hand 5-axis parts simultaneously or the capability of producing two identical 5-axis parts at a time.
Cincinnati Lamb continues to lead the industry in supplying equipment and processes that help to keep air travel safe, reliable and affordable.
"As production shifts to the global market, world-class producers must evolve to compete," said Dan Janka, President, Cincinnati Machine, a Cincinnati Lamb business unit.
"The efficiency gains provided by the HyperMach allow component producers to be positioned for success in a changed market." The HyperMach family of linear motor profilers was introduced in 2002 and has grown to include a variety of models tailored to meet the production needs in all aerospace manufacturing sectors.
The modular HyperMach machine is available with alternative 5-axis head configurations and combinations.
The common X-axis rail and gantry designs facilitate a broad range of axes travels utilising Cincinnati Lamb's exclusive 3D parametric modelling tools.
The highly flexible HyperMach family of machine tools is well suited for applications ranging from high volume aluminium removal on plate parts to high-speed drill and trim operations on cured composites parts.
