Fixed table VMC has 5-axis spindle head
Fixed table vertical machining centre with a 5-axis spindle head performs full 5-sided machining making it an ideal choice for aerospace, precision machining and die and mould applications.
The new FTV5 range, first shown at MACH 2006, is based on the Fixed Table (FTV) machining centre with a travelling column, the FTV5-1800 incorporates a 5-axis spindle head for full 5-sided machining It is available in three X-axis range designations - 1800, 2500 and 3700mm, making it the ideal choice for aerospace, precision machining and die and mould applications
